

think its possible to ket the key recoded but again not owning a 5gen i cant be sure, what i di know is if a 5g ecu is on ebay they always supply the key (no ignition barrel) so there must be something you can do with just the key

There was a recall on something to do with the ignition, there was another thread on here with a guy having problems in that area, I did mention the recall ting but I never went back to see if anyone replied4thgenphil wrote:this may sound stoooooooopid but didnt 5th gens have a recall for the ignition barrels? worth a search on here and puk sound like you are having similar symptoms to others!
