If you don't get the tag right the first time you submit a post it won't work ;)

I got a cruise control module off a geezer, and he gave me a relay that he said was bolted to it.

I wondered what it was for! Now I know. And now I wish I still had his number so I could get the rest of the fog light parts from his car!

(Cruise module was from a manual car, so no use to me!)

Looks about right bud. I don't think there were any other connectors there you could have got confused with.

If you look a third of the way down that link I posted at the top of this page, you can see pictures I posted which are pretty much fool-proof for connecting that extension and relay.

Thanks Nafe - just wanted to double check we hadnt plugged the relay&extension into the wrong connector - so it is definately plugged into the correct one. It was blue taped to the loom.
I will have to check the following:
A) I have the right stubby connector - bought off ebay - is there another stubby relay&extension that you can get? This one has different coloured wires and relay number to what you show in your thread.
B) I have the right switch - Its a 5th gen one i think....

I guess im going to have to remove them and take some pics and see if there is any difference.

Thanks for your help :)

the switch didnt light up and there was no sound from the relay so i guess thats the best place to start looking :)
