Well I painted a house a few weeks back and used around 20-25litres. I reckon the total area would be equal to the same 5 Preludes' worth of panel area. So that's around 4litres a car. Take off a bit for the bonnet and spoiler and take into consideration I was putting it on a bit thick and you're probably talking around 3litres.

Too many variables
What colour and how many layers?
What colour primer if using primer? This will effect coverage and the hue.
Shut lines being sprayed? Carbon bonnet being sprayed?
What type of paint?

But as an average i used 3 litres of base coat @ 5 layers and 2 litres of pearl coat @ 3 layers. And 3 litres of lacquer at 1 drop and 2 superwet coats.
