Rear arches... what to do?

Post by pagjake » Mon Aug 19, 2013 10:02 pm

my little lude is almost ready for its mot and cambelt change, but im stuck as to how i will sort out the rear arches? im not yet in the financial position to purchase any as ive got another car to tax and mot and service this month ide like to get a rough idea of the options available to me. is it worth trying to patch them up or are the fabricated rear arches still available and if so who do i contact and whats the damage? thanx in advance for any info

Well if you just want to get it through mot and are worried about jagged edges just cover them in duct tape. Looks bum droppings but passes mot.

depending on where the rust is in the arches :?: if you find a good fabricater/welder ;) they can use front wings from a scrapper as repair panels :P

the front wing repair thing may work in places but not for the full arch there are differences

Buy a pair of new rear arches from Cebul and replace the whole rear arch.
