Window Tinting Questions

Lo All

Wondering if anyone has an idea what the standard glass tint is on a Lude

I'm thinking of having a light tint done by a company i know.

New law says you can't tint from b pillars forward

i know it says front windows have to let 70% of light through , but i would have thought you could tint the front windows legaly to that level if the standard ones let in more than 70% to start with

depends on how stroppy the traffic police are near you buddy ask the tinting company a good one will have a light meter if it was me I wouldn't bother my 4g has front tints and I don't get hassled but I have seen people getting pulled and the tints ripped off

I think even the lowest tint would cause problems, I wouldn't put any tint on the front, I had tint on the front on my xr2I back in 2009, got 3 points and £60 fine without the option to remove the tint at the road side
