Hi

Today some idiot, to put it politely, drove into the back of me and has caused some quite substantial damage to my rear quarter.
I think i will have to foot the bill on this one as my insurance company will take it away to be assessed and if they write it off, which they will, they will dispose of the car themselves, which obviously i don't want.
Does anyone know somewhere in the Kent area where i could get the work carried out? And how much roughly i am expected to pay.

Here is a couple of pics of the damage.

:( Damn that sucks.

I think it may be easier to get hold of one of Cebul's panels, make the repair a hell of a lot easier for whoever does it.
I do actually have a far side one, but I figured I will need it at some point..if the original repair I had done to the near side is anything to go by

yeah get one of the replacement panels tell the assessor about the replacements and the cost he may factor it into the quote and It may make a difference

Yeah that does suck, alot.

Do you mean Cebul on this forum? Can he get hold of 4th get rear quarters?

I have looked about on the net for a new quarter but i guess these are fairly rare....well to find one which has not got a lot of rust on its way.

Oooooff, that's nasty mate, I feel for ya and I hope you get it sorted..!

..but what the hell is going on? Why is everyone out to destroy our 'Ludes?? Is this how 'classic cars' are made? By some kind of mass Prelude cull and any survivors are labelled as classics?
