Post by GJMHONDA2012 » Fri Jul 12, 2013 10:17 pm

went into my local motor factors today to price paint for my lude gave them the proper colour which is cassis red and the paint code R-82P they quoted me £70 for 500mil of it so went to halfords exactly the same amount which was priced at £19.95 for 500mil and £39.95 for 1 litre so halfords are atleast good for 1 thing i suppose

What paint was it? Halfords paint is cheap because its Clubbing Eddy.
The paint i use is around £50-100 for 500ml depending on how much pearl is in the paint. Cassis has quite an amount of pearl in it.

I've bought 2 cans of spray from halfords now and for the price of doing jobs on my car it's been brilliant. It's the first time I've ever done any kind of body work in my life on my cars and to every other person on the street you couldn't tell the difference with a decent sand down and a polish. I'm happy with the halfords stuff I think it's brilliant.

Try these guys man: http://www.paints4u.com/

Been using them for years and the paint match is pretty good, certainly a lot better than the stuff from Halfords.
