read your thread on clay bar
5 hours later and i am knackered
went and treated myself as Hellfrauds had a 2 for 1 offer

so got maguairs clay bar kit £26 and maguairs extreme wax £21 and got free maguairs finish polymer coat £17 free
alredy had some maguairs wash and wax and did it
the difference is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
clay bar took some getting used to but you could feel the crap coming off the paint and the finish was like glass then polished and waxed and final top coat
she looks like she just come out of a showroom!
if you try and rest your cloth on the car it slides off quicker than you can catch it
so thanks for giving the balls to do it people!
will have to get some pics in light as too dark for my camera.

I can almost guarantee your paintwork is nowhere near how good it could be!!
Although saying that, clay, polish and wax will give good results, just not "perfect" ones

I'm guilty of this
Nice work having a crack with the old clay bar, there's something theroputic and soothing about detailing

Yep, and if you're not careful you'll be spending hundreds on it!!
To date I've probably spent near on £500 on cleaning products and gear, including my machine polisher.
The sealant kit I use (instead of wax) is £70
