Lo Peops
Just wondering how many of you guys actually take their cars to the £5/£6 hand wash merchants
The body shop where I recently got some paintwork done told me not to use them.
When I try to wash my Lude myself it always looks awful
What do you guys think
Cheers

I took mine to my local hand wash place but they got a bit excited with the jet wash an took the paint off the front corner of the bumper. Now I try an do it myself it does take a lot longer. But all the paint is still there

Always do it myself, or sometimes for a little easier quick wash, I take it to tesco or any jet wash, the dry it off and then use lucas speed wax... Brilliant shine everytime lol

I hope they are paying for the damage!
If you don't care about your paint, then take it to the handwash. They use harsh aggresive products that can stain trim, wheels etc and also strip any wax or protection on your paint. Then they use the same cloth they have been using all day and to dry it off the same chammy (or worse still a blade).
Honda paint is notoriusly butter soft and easy to mark. Things can really anal when you really get into detailing, and expensive, but the rewards speak for themselves.
And on the ATR...
When you get it looking like that, you want to keep it like that.
