I'll just quietly drive off the end of a cliff, I wonder if anyone would notice myself and my lude missing?

Excellent.

The fan was the thing we weren't 100% on cause we never had the engine hot enough to operate the thermo switch. And didn't have time to check back the wiring because of everyone standing round tapping feet/shaking fists wanting to get on with the drive out! Just sussed it out by connecting the fan directly to the battery to get the +/- tied in with right direction and checking which pin on the original plug was ground. So it should have been right but you never know for sure until you see it run by itself...

It's not a big deal anyway mate. You've done the hard work! Just take it off, turn it around, & fit it with the bumper on. Should take you about an hour. :)

As for the rest of it; thanks to Sam & Iain you're very close to having a nice, reliable Lude. So stay positive, crack on with it, & make it happen! 8-)

It's not that bad at all, and an easy fix. Just laugh at it...everyone else has.
