I used to jet wash mine, ok, I've done it twice in 10 years. Once your bay is clean, it tends to stay that way with a little occasional upkeep.
IMO, only bits to be concerned with is the fuse box, dizzy and the big black of connectors on the rear passenger side. Just cover them in plastic bags and go for it.
You wont get all the dirt off, but a tin of gunk and a paint brush will soon get the remaining oily deposits off. After cleaning use a low running hose pipe in each area cleaned.

Might have to pay you a visit sometime then DanW1ggz wrote:Engine degreaser and power wash is what we do then apply a engine dressing to shine up all the plastics and clean all the metal work down. When I've done mine the only issue I've had was the power steering belt not liking it for a couple of minutes till it dried out. As long as you don't spray it directly near the spark plugs your normally ok. The French don't like water lol

Yeah I was about to say that too, just metal and water= rust?! Although I would do exactly the same and just blast the whole lot instead a toothbrush lolDaveyBa8 wrote:I wouldn't do it for one reason and that's speeding up the rust process.
