Sunfoof Rattle When Open?

Mine has done this for years and I've never got round to sorting it. I had planned to cut some rubber or cork like material to fit in the end of the running tracks, so that when the sunroof is fully open, it squishes it which would hopefully take up any gaps and keep it from rattling. Maybe a piece of radiator hose would do the trick, glued in place with some flexible adhesive or silicon.
