Cheers Merlin. ;)

Just to add, nearly 4 years on they still look pretty good without any major bolster wear. :P

@Donald, thing is there are plenty of 'bare' areas that need the colour back in them, so I'm probably looking for a black leather treatment.
Google "Colourlock". You basically clean it with solvent, re-dye the worn areas with the appropriate colour. I used black F034 on my knobs & F046 on my seats & steering wheel. (I think!) & finally apply a protector. It's not too shiny, either.

I got mine from Petzoldt's in Germany.

BTW, you can just re-touch the wear-prone bits now & again.

Yeah, I was really looking for a leather treatment/restorer, that is also coloured so that it 'fills in' the scuffs, a bit like colour waxes you get for the car itself.

I, my missis and the Queen's Own Horse Guard only use Leather genie balm.

It feeds hard worn or used leather with a mixture of natural oils.
I have some pics of the bimmer leather I bought but I have lost them right now.... I cant recommend it enough as a ''leather food''. If it looks worn this stuff makes it look and feel new.

It wont colour but it brings ANY leathger back from death. Even badly sundamaged headrests etc.

I have found the 'best' application is while the leather is warm. sponge it in then push it into the pours with your hand. after a day wipe the rsidue off and reapply if needed. The leather will suck in the oils and begin to 'plump' up again.

I bought some beige coloured balm for a previous car. Not 100% certain, but think it was by "furniture clinic" or similar, on ebay. It did an excellent job of restoring colour in the worn leather. More recently I have used gliptone to clean / condition leather seats in my home and car, and really do recommend it. Pushki's results looked pretty impressive. Like most leather treatments, don't even consider using it unless the interior is nice and warm.

Thanks @lewd lude lover and @andypont 8-)
I think I may end buying two products, one to put some colour back in the worn areas, then something like the leather genie to keep it that way.

Not going I'm afraid :( My clone is only just 4 weeks old, so still a touch on the demanding side. I'm told it's just the first 20 years or so..
