Out of interest, what was the procedure for removing them?

A bit of brute force. They wouldn't slide out.
I wish I'd just left them alone now.

Funnily enough I took these off for the first time yesterday, to test fit my recently aquired roof rack.
I just pushed them forwards and lifted them up, came up fairly easily.
One clip was broken but it looks to have been done a long time ago.
And surpisingly mine was a lot cleaner than your Pushki! :? :)

I would imagine these clips are fairly cheap from Honda? I got them to order a bonnet rest clip and I think that was about £1 or something.

As Gorgon has noticed, 4G ones are different to those on the 5G which are a simpler design.

As does BMCC, I remove mine when waxing The Lude. On a similar note, I also pop out the side repeaters in the front wings when waxing.
