My rear screen was smashed by a mates 10yr old kid about 12 months ago, he threw a little stone at his mate, missed and hit my window instead, it went straight through..!!

I bet yours was done with a sparkplug or one of these as the c*nt walked past..

fully comprehensive?

go through the insurance, pay the excess

I used know someone who liked stealing cars, he would smash up a spark plug use small pieces of the ceramic bit wrapped in some rizla, throw it at car windows they would shatter.

I'm just not sure either way but it seems more likely it was done deliberately. Strange though because we don't have any trouble with the neighbours. It was hit on the side closest our property so if it was done deliberately they were standing on our drive, rather than on the pavement walking by. I did find a stone/flint lying underneath the back of the car that was round like a pebble but had a very strange sharp point on it. Would someone really go to the trouble to shape a stone? I don't know and probably never will...

I did have the windows open above on that night when it happened and was playing COD zombies pretty loud until 3 in the morning. Maybe someone thought I was having too much fun.

Sad thing is I've done a lot of thinking over the weekend and have talked it over with the mrs. The Prelude is going to be broken. But on the positive side there'll be some juicy parts up for sale soon and LG members will all get first refusal ;)

Where do you live mate? I've got a rear screen in my JDM parts car, you're welcome to have it FOC if it keeps your car on the road - only trouble is, I'm in Cornwall...
