Rear arches... what to do?

Depends entirely what you're hoping to achieve.
You can also get the repair done with a universal arch repair kit (have a look at my UKDM profile to see). I had it done that way because at the time there weren't any repair panels available - then whilst it was in the shop, cebul launched his panels!
There is arguably more labour involved in using the universal repair kits and I'd have gone with cebul's panels if I'd had the option at the time as it's bound to be the longest lasting. One of mine is absolutely fine 2 years later, while the other now has a small blister half way round the arch (that will be easily repairable again though) .
