I was watching Banged Up Abroad yesterday on Nat Geo and in the episode Fast, Furious and Busted these dumb dudes go to a car dealership to try to steal a 4th gen (for which they even had the key!!!)

They failed to start it (immobiliser/main relay??) so they push it away

They try (and fail) to start it again

So they leave it parked down an alley to come back with a tow truck but the cops were waiting for them.

...and the 4th gen lived happily ever after

Yes I think so, it was all jumpy cameras and dodgy angles..

no it wasn't taken in the rear view you can see the outline of the rear view in the shot probably 2 camera angles

Or they just showed a mirror image of the shot.. the white BMW seems to swap sides of the 'Lude.
