I got a mate who breaks, restores and rallys these things, infact i did a new rally shell about 9 years ago for him that he still hasn't finished putting together.if anybody was after a celica of this era then he is the man to know. between him and his mate in bristol (known as bristol based bob  ) there ain't a lot they can't get you. food for thought thats all :)

You can't tempt me... It's the wrong time because I already have 3/4 project cars and no garage!

i think the ownership thing is pushing the price of this up a bit. overpriced in my opinion.

a very nice 1 may fetch £7000 but panels are serious money and hard to find.

Not the same, but close. The one in the OP is a fastback too, so more sort-after...

correct the liftback doesn't fetch as much money, i spent a bit of time around these when i had my 80's supra fetish. restored in bristol, hmmm i wonder if this is 1 of bristol based bobs. spent some time in a showroom in wales aswell. does look nice mind. just to add that my mates dads old car (his show car)was finished in 2000 and won best in show at billing on its first appearance. yes i did do some work on it and yes i did have a tear in my eye as it was announced as the winner.
