It will certainly be quick in a straight line but I wonder how understeery it will be.

Agree, they said the same with putting a big V6 in a Prelude (I used to think that too) but turns out there isn't a much of a difference.

I did look at specs list but couldnt see anything more than coilovers and a front strut brace.

I have seen the weight difference on honda-tech, it only weighs the dry short block so head and intake manifold are not included. Also I do question the results for a few reasons, the guy say the D series block is 100lb (45.3kg) Vs the H at 131lb (59.4kg). Look at the below pic of H Vs D series :? :

Even though I question the results, using his own weights the H series block alone is 31% heavier than the D series.

It's not the mass with the J-series (which is very light & compact), more that it sits farther forward being a v-engine. Add a bigger radiator & stuff, you end up with something handling more like an Audi. Well, not that bad but.. I dunno how practical it is to re-tune 4WS to compensate, but I'm sure it must be possible.

But you can get a SH-AWD Leg End as cheap as chips now. Pity it weighs so much & isn't a coupe...

This was a mates project over on CL, the engine and box was sweet as he took it out of his accord last year. Was going to be his track toy, spent time putting the dc5 clocks in it, done some nice stuff to it, sold it to buy a ek9 £2,995 or whatever it is, is abit steep especially when the bloke hasnt done anything to it, but if im honest id sell mine for about £2500,
Im not sure what price this was sold for.
Great buy for whoever if they get the price down
