Saw this the other day and noticed its for sale pictured at johnsons honda dealership just outside oxford - that i'm visiting on saturday where the Mrs is looking for a new car (probably a civic). Will see if i can give it a look over - must be one of the mechanics projects...

That DOES look nice. While I was looking, I noticed this in the gallery of similar goods that eBay likes to tempt one with.

OK it's a 2.0 auto, but it does look nice, and great value. And no, it's not mine!

Good on the owner for restoring it that well
No engine bay shots, but the rest now looks mint

Any rare honda stood for 10 years, that ends up in a honda-mechanics hand, was clearly not theirs to begin with. I'd be interested to know how it came to be. Perhaps previous owner died? Very few cars sit for 10 years, especially not (at the time), 10 year old top of the range ones.

That is seriously nice. £4600 in bids and still hasn't hit the reserve. Must be about 5K
Fair play to whoever did the resto

Credit to them for putting up a photo of what it looked prior to the restoration.
Like nafeman said it would be good to see some engine bay shots - for me thats the money shot

Didn't get around to seeing this this morning - tucked around the back obviously.
By coincindence, on the test drive of a new civic, i saw a silver 5th gen prelude - thought my car had been stolen lol.
Honda count in the household will now be raising to 2 however

- a 2017 10th gen civic purchased by the Mrs , 1litre 3cyl turbo CVT, not as bad as it sounds - will be perfect car for the Mrs and her usage. I didn't actually drive it but it wasn't as loud as id read , and the smaller engine has enough umph, and the auto should make her cross country commute a little more bearable.
