'92 BB4 acquired! Anyone want it?

A '92 BB4 in silver. H22A, manual, no sunroof or cruise.

I saw this a few months ago in the back of a mechanic's workshop, so I acquired it today. The body is a bit shabby, as you can see there's a ding in the front wing, and a dent by the side of the rear screen. The bumpers are a bit displaced, probably from having things driven against them in the workshop, but they're not damaged.

No bodywork rust.

The paintwork is shabby too - it would really need a respray to make it look nice, so as that and the ding repairs would cost a grand at least I'll probably part her out.

Do you know, I realised today that although I've owned three 4Gs, I've never driven a manual! So I took this for a blast around the country lanes this morning. Good, innit! :)

She drives great. Although the idle when warm is a little low and she cuts out if you come off the gas and declutch.

So if I part her - anyone want anything? I'm in Ireland, so postage for any small to medium part to the UK would be about £8.

Why part it?
Looks too good to part with small cosmetics needed?
Maunal wins 8-)

Well, because I have my 96 which is great. I like the auto, and I like having cruise!

AndI don't need another one! And I don't have 1200 or so to do it up!

I'd sell it happily though if anyone wants it as is.

Yep, that looks too good to break if no rust, surely?

Maybe, but what else will I do with it? Like I say shed need a respray and those little dents fixing.

TBH, just changing that front wing for a good used and straightening the rear bumper bar so it sits properly, would sort out the cosmetics enough, surely?

No it's definitely a BB4.

I know it wouldn't take much to get it right, the big dent behind the offside rear window would need to be fixed too. And she needs a respray.

Maybe I'll just offer her for sale.
