I messaged the guy through ebay actually. I enquired about the engine mods. To that he literally copied and pasted the whole ebay ad and just put his name at the bottom :?

When I said I had actually read the ad (oddly enough), but there was nothing in there to explain how it was achieving near 300bhp when a standard h22a is only 185-217bhp, he replied saying he didn't know as he didn't have it built, he bought it off the guy who did, so I'd need to speak to him or the engine builder. (Yeah cheers mate!)

I also then pointed out after a quick skim read that the extract from the magazine said that the previous owner had hoped to one day get around 300bhp out of it, by either fitting a super-charger or turbo, so it was most likely still running standard, and if he'd care to let me know the engine code I'd let him know what that probable figure was.

... I think he's still looking for that engine code ;-)
