Just down the road from me and this is the only petrol turbo model I don't have an example of (the later intercooled engine).

Must not bid, must not bid, must not bid..........................

Yeah, I was thinking that.

I guess it's so they've got more room for garlic & onions in the back!

Erm. This probably isn't very helpful, but... I can't do that Dave. Sorry, Iain.

Maybe your mind works differently, but just about now I'd probably be saying to myself that it might be justifiable if I got rid of that other (whatever) project which I didn't like as much and had had for ages... or even two of them... and concentrated on one good runner which I could get up to speed quickly... yes, maybe free up some space... it's quite sensible really, not so much of a compromise as a positive benefit. And the missus will be happy with fewer bangers around and just one more functional car.... and you know, when will I see one of these again.... and they are bound to appreciate faster as time goes on... so I'm gaining space (or at least completing the collection), improving the level of "redundancy" in my car fleet (useful to have a working spare!) and increasing the overall functional percentage of the fleet, which has got to be good. Difficult to find any good reasons not to.. I mean....

But I digress. I'm sure you'll do what's right. :poke:

(Nice to be irresponsible and a long way away!)

OK. Seriously, don't do it. Apparently there's a terribly high percentage of these things have rabies, and in fact all of the "later intercooled engine" models are known to be infected :|

Yep, always fancied one of those as well Phil, to see what they're like. And as you say - rare as.
I like 'em in the dark metallic green though, so I'm safe from that particular one! ;)

:? According to the latest Citroen Car CLub mag, there are only 107 Xantia Activa's left in the UK now too (mine being one of the 62 SORN'd ones). I really need to get on with finishing the repairs on that...

If you are going to get a BX at least get the GTi, if one still exists
