a big well done to both Nitin & Gayno for their first time on track you both did really well and your both top blokes a big thank you to Gayno for organizing it all and apologies to Nitin for not getting the chance to dive into your crotch you know what i'm on about

Drax's car is fully stripped

only half really bud, all ive done is take out the back seats and remove the air con and cruise con i still have heavy 4ws, power steering, abs, tcs, sunroof mechanism and a fat b*stard driving it lol! it weighs 1250kg at the last test my wifes ex silver lude was 1200 as it was one of the more basic spec 2.2 import ludes with only a sunroof and no other goodies

Ah right I stand corrected lol I really thought it was stripped . 1250kg what the hell do these weigh standard. I thought they were light lol.
Ow how do you go about removing the cruise? What do you have to do with the vacuums?

Hi all, I'm the owner of the Evo 4, hope you enjoyed the footage from the track session. I'd just like to clear a few things up if you don't mind?

the evo was fully stripped out you can here every spec of dust hitting the floor most of the civics will be fully stripped out most of the ludes are full fat

The car isn't stripped out at all, I have a full interior, climate control, electric windows & mirrors, stereo and even the spare wheel was in the boot!!

And the Evo has obviously done it before

I have but only four Japfest track sessions.

I was thinking the Evo doesn't look at all quick through the corners? Just a point and squirt merchant? Maybe I've got the wrong impression though...

That hurts a bit!! To be fair though I wasn't attacking the corners as hard as I could've been, I haven't had it on track since JF 2012 so I was a bit rusty Also I had a bit of work done to it on Thursday/Friday so it was kind of a shake down for it.

Anyway it was nice sharing the track with you guys, I had a lot of fun.

welcome in buddy but you can hear every spec of dust hitting the pan there can be no soundproofing in there

Haha, I assure you there is, I think what you can hear is mobile rattling in it's holder, that's what I recorded it on!

rattling in the holder what is it a bean tin it sounds exactly like a rally car with the jobby hitting the arches and the turbo whine.
I have never drove an evo i am not sure i could live with it if it was like that on the inside, i love my engine noise and my car isn't exactly heavily soundproofed but i think its quieter than yours

listen to your vid you will see what i mean

fair play to you if it has the full interior i am not a fan of stripped out cars anyway is your evo modified?

Haha, I wasn't expecting that! Good quality video though @Osiris, thanks for uploading it. I always enjoy watching someone make their way through the field and you gave people plenty of space when overtaking, can't ask for more than that!
