How many cars could you fit in here I wonder?

Found something cool online? Post a thread about it in here.

I find a lot of folks are suspicious of people who keep more cars than they need :(

But yeah, you'd think if they're letting a commercial space then as long as your interests are legitimate then it shouldn't really be a problem what you do. If they don't like it, then don't advertise the space to rent lol

 Maybe I should get Donald to ring them... He could probably badger them into submission before they even realised it?

Or maybe of the LG community all rang up with varying degrees of obscenely unsuitable uses for the place, they'd relent and realise some sad git with his Citroen collection is actually quite a good and harmless offer!

Ok update - so it seems I was speaking to the rotweiller last time. I've got through that now and spoken to the organ grinder himself!

Nice chilled out gentrified sounding chap, who when I asked him what the last person I spoke to had said I wanted to do with the place, said "I was told you want to grow canabis or something like that" (so it seems Doggo did follow through with his suggestion after all and they think I'm him? :? ) ;)

Going to see it on Saturday :D

This is completely mad - I don't earn enough to have £300 a month to waste, but when I add up the cost of the barn and council garages I rent to store cars in currently, scarily it isn't far off that already and the key benefit of this place is that they'd all be in one place, with light, power and water, so I could actually DO something on them! It's something that's been really pissing me off for quite a while, so it's worth making happen somehow, if I can...

See, this is why I want to convert a commercial property into a residential property, so I can keep all my motors in my "living room", along with a 4 poster lift :D

It will happen one day though, I'm sure!

Yeah, would be cool having an industrial unit and keeping the cars on the shop floor, then living on a mezzanine floor above 8-) problem is most industrial units are fecking cold

It can be done. There are a lot of regulations around converting a property classification from commercial to residential, but it can be done, as it saves a lot of costs and paperwork for the council with the demolition of the old commercial structure and then rebuilding a residential one.

My lad's just shown me some bungalow floor plans with living accommodation one side of a large garage and the bedrooms on the other. You get to say "good morning" to your darling autos on your way to breakfast.
