Well I'd already contacted 12tune, so we'll see what their response is.
I would assume;
12tune raise a claim on UPS
UPS 'investigate' and give a response to 12tune and either refund them the value of the goods or argue about it (if they're a high usage customer, probably just settle it for the small value of the claim).
Somewhere in there, 12tune send me out a replacement. Either straight away if they're trusting/got excellent customer service, or after they've had a response from UPS if they're suspicious I might be trying to rip them off for 2 of whatever mystery thing it is that I bought...

I'd play dumb & see how this investigation pans out..
I'm interested to see if they can trace it.
And if they can't trace it, what they would hypothetically do to resolve the discrepancy.
Might force one or more of these parties to improve their service a bit..

12tune have done nowt wrong so far (in fact I've been well impressed with how quick they were sending it out!) I'll wait and see what their initial response is like.

Yeah, that's fair enough.

12 tune got back to me at half 11 today, to apollogise for me not having received it and said they'd logged it with UPS, who were investigating and they promised to come back to me within 24 hours, so I'm perfectly happy with 12 tune and have told them what's happened now.
Be interesting to see if UPS come back to them to admit they cocked up and delivered it to the wrong place!

brilliant customer service from 12tune
very helpful people the whole time of ordering, and they were keeping me up to date on main bearing and piston rings but due to a change of plan I asked if they could be cancelled - done within minutes, no arguments etc., full refund and invoice as well!
will defo be using them again.
