I know there aren't many on here that run stretched tyres (and there are obviously going to be a few opposing opinions about running them ;-) ), but I just thought this site was quite handy for those that do or were considering it...

I dont run them and wont run them, purely because i think there dangerous.

My mate runs a stretch, its so bad that if he turns a corner some air leaks out of the beading!

Yeah I would never run an actual "stretch" like some of the crazy bastards out there... Especially considering I'll be taking my family in my car (not that that really makes any difference about wanting to be safe on the road), but I wanted to see what kind of look a certain tyre size on a certain size rim would be, and this proved quite handy.

Of course different manufacturer's widths vary slightly, but it's enough to go on ;-)

As for air leaking out when corning because a stretch is that bad, that's just stupid :roll:

YES!!! That's the car!! It will be for sale later this year.. it is so low that when the tyre goes down the whole car scrapes on the floor! :shock:

He's not had it long. It must be bad :lol: I don't understand why some people make their cars that impractical :? Yes low looks cool, but then there's so low it's embarrasing when you can't physically go places :facepalm:
