Drivers side rear slightly low

Hi guys.
I noticed some time ago that my lude was slightly low on the drivers side rear.
Couldnt find anything obviously wrong,so assumed it must be weak spring on that side.
No problem i thought as was intending to fit new lowering springs anyhow.
So in april this year i eventually fitted new apex springs, however i am disappointed to find car still sits
approx half inch lower on drivers side rear, front is fine.
Nothing obvious under car, some bushes ready for replacement, but both sides in equal condition.
Any other suggestions? Nothing appears damaged, and i even tried swapping the new rear springs around,
just in case, but made no difference.
It is only about half an inch, but it annoys me
Thanks for any help.
Tony.

Are the wheels and tyres the same on both sides?

I didnt think the shocks play any part in ride height?? They seemed ok.

if one shock is weak it could affect the height

I will check/replace the shocks then, and see what happens.

Could it be that the drivers side of the car is slightly heavier? It has the gearbox on that side.
