Hey,
After some hard graft on the paintwork I need to get the alloys up to condition. They are so badly 'peeling' at the edges two of the alloys are dropping air - up to 8 psi in 24hrs
The old boy was over tonight and said he needed a hand at his work for a couple of days this week. He said he'd pay for my refurb as my 'pay'
Now looking for a recommended Alloy repairer/painter in the Glasgow/West of Scotland. Fancy going Anthracite - still remember a member a PUK member having his done and they were the nuts (iirc he sold them not long after getting them done

)
Recommendations/contacts most welcome

If you dont mind me asking how much did it cost Macky?
Read a few poor reviews through Google about them and its kinda scared me off. If I get good reviews I might be more inclined to give them a shot

Hi mate - I got mine done a couple of weeks ago at a place called Glentyan Alloys in Linwood, Renfrewshire (5 mins from Glasgow Airport) - good job & very reasonable at £180 for four wheels powdercoated & centre-caps painted to match. I had them done the lighter of 2 metallic anthracite colours they do & they look like this (any excuse

) :
There's more info in the thread on this page entitled "what colour wheels on a Crystal Blue Metallic 5th" but in short the wheels were really scabby looking & now they're pretty much spotless

Thats what I am after if not a little darker

. I am based in Barrhead so will maybe drop by them sometime this week. The alloys are so badly scabbed/flaking I want to make sure they will be able to do them
