5th gen brake dust shields

Anyone ever tried to use the accord front brake shields. The preludes are hard to find or they want silly money. I know the accords designs are slightly different but look right.

I had half a mind to remove them on the 5g, they were very crunchy. Getting to the 4 screws looked a bit tight without removing the hub (let alone fitting new ones, i dont think they would fit over the hubs themselves). Probably not worth doing...

74quid each lol - no chance.
Anyone know if its an MOT fail to not have them fitted?

I’ve got all the front end off. The knuckles are painted and new wheel bearings are in. Mine just turned to dust
Yeah don’t wanna pay silly money. I’ve found accords for 30 quid for the pair.

Asked my mechanic this just take them off its not an mot fail but you get advisorys for rusted ones that's what I got last year this year I'm just removing them.

Let us know if the accord ones fit. I guess finding accord type R 300mm ones will be impossible though

I’ve ordered the dorman make from American and they say it’s a 300mms the preludes 2.0 discs are 262 but I’ve changed the hub to 5 stud so I can have 282 so hoping the size isn’t a issue maybe clearance as it’s shape is slightly different. But I’ve got a hammer hahah.
