Hi

Are the front hub assemblies the same on the 4g and 5g? I'm gradually restoring (completely the wrong word, given that my 4G is already nigh-on mint) my 4g, and by that I mean whatever I choose to take off I'm refurbing before I refit, so it'd save time to buy 2 spares and refurb them before I start taking the existing items off. So, are they the same? :D

nearly the same and folk do swap out 4th gen hubs for 5th gen as this gives them 5 stud with larger choice of wheels - you might also need the 5th gen driveshafts for the front but someone who has done the 5 stud hub swap will know for sure :)
