Recommend me some wheels

I am close to buying a 5th gen type S. I have done a few Google searches but there are not many Type S Preludes about so it is hard to get many ideas.
The requirements for the wheels are, that they shouldn't be too expensive, they should be Japanese, and most likely 17 inch. Any ideas welcome.

What sort of budget is 'not too expensive'?
And are you looking for new or used?

Maybe no more than £800.
What offset do I need as well please guys?

Offset depends on how much you are lowered. Between ET42-47 is a safe bet on 7.5J wheels.

Not an adventurous recommendation but I like Rota's as they are good value and easy to get hold of. Rota's are on my both my Ludes

17x17.5 ET45 Slips, Torques, Grids or GTR
I have ET45 on my 5th gen which only just rubs on the tabs on the rear bumper but you can cut them to give more clearance see here

Thanks for the input all.
So is 17x17.5 ET45 a safe bet? I am going to lower it but not excessively, I would rather not get involved with having to cut bits of body work, so what is best?

I'm running exactly the same setup as Merlin but they are Rota Titans. I think I got a dodgy batch though because they don't balance up very well.
If you are lowered i have found that it comes down to the tyre if it rubs.
My car rubs the wheel arches slightly now, but didn't on the tyres before (same measurements)

17x17.5 is definitely not a good idea
