Rear shock absorber mounting & spring mounting

Over the last few months, the rear of my car has become very creaky. Sounds high up to me. I suspect it’s related to worn rear shock absorber mounting (52675-SS0-004) and / or rear spring mountings (52686-SS0-004). Both highlghted in red below:
Back in 2014, may car had a full set of polyurethane bushes fitted. A month or so ago, I had a poke around underneath the car but couldn’t see anything wrong. ARB seems solid. I haven’t yet had a look at the above mentioned parts, but I hope / guess they're simple ish to replace? Jack up car, undo some bolts at the top from within the boot, drop down suspension and then replace the parts. Has anyone done here this before? Any tips?

Have you checked your poly bushes are greased enough and moving? It's something quick to check off before purchasing new parts.
To replace the top mounts you need to completely remove the shock and spring combo from the car and compress the spring with spring compression tools so that you can undo the top mounts to replace them. After fitting the new ones, slowly release the compression tools to fit the road spring back into place.

Yep, polybushes need to be greased.
So if it's creaky rather than knocking (and they haven't been greased), that's where I'd start.

I don't think these normally come with a set of Polly bushes.
I did see item 13 available separately on strongflex website I think.
These bushes are known to wear out, causing the rear shock generally to knock usually...

Thanks guys, seems like what I thought was a simple job isn't what I expected. I'll have the get the poly bushes greased at some point.

Anyone have any idea of how many hours labour this takes? Just for the rear? And for both front and rear?

Doesn't take too long to remove the rear struts.
Remove the inner boot liner.
Undo 2x 14mm top strut nuts.
Undo 2x 17mm upper suspension arm nuts.
undo 1x 17m lower strut mounting bolt.
Upper arm will then come free from chassis and it can be lowered, strut can then be manipulated out of place.
Dismantling the strut (removing the top hat) is dangerous as you'd need to compress the spring.
Best do the removal yourself and then take the struts to a small garage to get the springs done and loosened. They can do the collar/bush for you for practically no time taken at all.
You can grease the upper arm bushes easily. If you want to do this, loosen the 2x 14mm bolts and they will come free of the arms. Might need some persausion so perhaps mount the upper mounts back to he chassis again. With no strut in the way it will be easy to undo the bolts. It's hard to do once they are disconnected.

So, on Sunday I drove over 50 miles in the rain, mostly motorway. The next day, my suspension creaks had completely disappeared! Silent, apart from the usual banging & crashing. Was also OK over 135 miles of driving yesterday. But the creaking is starting to come back slightly today.

How about a quick spray of gt85 or silicon spray, should eventually trickle into the rubbing part?

I am considering that as a quick fix but think that would only be temporary. This is an interesting read:
