Hi guys,
Finally, I managed to buy my car back off after 4 years. Previously I owned the car for 7 years. It's 1991 si import. Unfortunately, it has some rust underneath now. My plan is to restore the complete car and keep it forever. I will update pictures Very soon. What product would you guys recommend for rust removal? I am planing to start/finish the whole project by myself. Any ideas/suggestions about restoration please feel free to share your knowledge. Much appreciated.
Kind regards.
Usman

Bilt Hamber stuff gets great reviews from folk on here ;)

Best rust remover is an angle grinder - cut it all out

Always good to hear about a lude being restored 8-)

I thought so! Angel grinder! Lol. It has to be done that way.. I missed my car from the day I sold it. Very excited to have it back I am sure every single second of work will be worth it.

As mentioned above, best method is definitely cut and weld new metal.

Great stuff, glad you got it back usman.
If it's rot then yep, cut it out and patch in new. If it's just surface and not a decorative area, then stiff wire brush (ideally on an angle grinder with a flap wheel tbh) back and treat with some Bilt Hamber Deox to get rid of the last bits.
