Hi guys I want to lower my lude it's a 97 h22a5 5th gen I think it's a bb8. Not sure how to tell tho... Anyone know where I can get some decent springs? (not coil overs) at a decent price at around 30mm drop as I don't want to go to low..

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Thanks

Dan

Hi ya,
TBH, there are loads to choose from for a prelude, from lots of different manufacturers and re-sellers.
Here's a quick search on ebay to give an idea of the range of manufacturer options out there;
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Vehicle-Part ... ude+spring
Of those, Eibach and KYB are well known and recommended. Tein, Spax and Apex also well known (but less commonly used - Tein are mostly used as a full coilover unit rather than their springs fitted to oem shocks)
Before investing, it's well worth doing the rounds on car tuning suppliers that support japanese motor's, to check prices from them (and some options not shown on that quick ebay search). funkypower.co.uk etc. those sorts of places.

Don't be tempted to fit coilover sleeves to your standard shocks as a cheap adjustable option - the yanks love them, us brits don't recommend them :lol:

The springs won't affect the 4ws, 2 and 4 ws have exactly the same setup.
