Not sure where you could get some replacements from, but I remember mine broke off my first lude and it functioned just fine without them.

Hi Raggagirl, long time no hear! Hope all's well?
It will run without them, but the discs aren't protected from stones, dirt and water splash at all. You can get problems like stones thrown up that get wedged between the disc and caliper carrier, causing scoring.
Should be easy enough to pick up some decent condition used ones on here from a car being broken I would think.
Are you looking for front or rear?

Hello @wurycorner

I am ok thanks, hanging on in there! :) How you? :)
Thanks for the advice. I plan to change all 4 discs so its going to look odd with the brake shield as its rusty, hence why I was wondering if I could do without them. I wont now though as I wouldn't want them ruined. Couldn't find any on Ebay. By the way, any idea where I can get a decent set of discs? I am looking for black drill/grooved ones...
Regarding the shield, I am after both front and rear.

Hi ya OK Ta. Not had enough time for the Ludes over the last year though :(

There's a few guys on here that have bought black discs, though I can't recall who exactly, now... Hopefully they will be along shortly to help out... Think a lot of people recommend black diamond discs? Though they might not be the cheapest.
