Hey guys. is someone here running a 8,5 with +30 oder wider on a 4then gen? Iam zero satisfied with my 7x17 +37 and 215 tires. They look lost and the lowspeed grip is frustating. I want to run 235 or at least 225. actually id like to test 255 but probably no chance to get that legal in germany.
So i wonder if someone has a few pictures showing the fitment! I have the chance to buy 8,5x17 with +30

After buying those Rims and getting 215 45 17 RSR for free, I can answer my own question. Maybe someone else is lookinmg for a similar rim size and fitment. Here are some pics
Looks like theres room for 225. But iam gonna get 235 and see what happens. May the Grip be with me ;D

The front has to be pulled(is that correct english?) anyway. And in the rear.. 20mm wider tire is to the outside only +10mm.
I think 10mm more outside will be tight.^^ Probably less then 1mm left ;D

Considering 4th and 5th gen arches are the same dimensions and offsets you have allot of room but tyres change everything.
My arches are rolled and pulled and I have 2mm spare.
17x9 et42 245/40/17. However ad08s have very square shoulders and mine are wider.

True about the tire profile.
Ran into rubbing issues with 215/45/17 ad08r on my lude..
