I'm wanting to put the lude on a diet, it's a 4th Gen
I'm wanting the sunroof out and a aluminium plate over top, pas is out too,
Would taking out the carpet, sound deadening help and thinking of taking off the standard wing mirrors and buying some lightweight mirrors
Any more suggestions

Just out of curiosity how much do you weigh ? I used to rally with a guy obsessed with the weight of his escort who wouldn't even run a heater matrix to save weight. He was rounder than he was tall and a good diet would have suited him better than taking his heater out.
P.s . I'm about 2 stone over weight myself I reckon.

i would think its a case of how many comforts you wont to do without , why the sudden urge to loose weight

you could remove all the carpets sound deading, door panels ,heater box ,centre console, rear seats, headlining, replace front seats and wheels with light weight options
