Upgrade brake discs on bb9 prelude

Post by Andy1000 » Sun Jul 17, 2016 8:52 pm

Is it possible to upgrade 4 stud 260mm front discs to 4 stud 282mm discs from bb1-4 prelude and will I also need to upgrade calipers to suit 282mm discs
As looking to replace discs and pads at front and rear off my car

You need calipers, carriers, discs and pads bud. I'm local and have a breaker with calipers/carriers coming of a bb8. You will need to slightly modify the backing plates on the bb9 unless you swap them also.

Exactly what I thought apart from upgrading the backing plates.

i am currently upgrading the car in stages at present and yes i would be interested in these parts from the bb8

If you can give me a pm with cost for the parts that would be great

And I can meet up with you at a suitable time to pick them up if that's okay

Hopefully I will then be able to try and find some time to get them fitted to the car at some point as I have still not got around to fitting the shocks that I got from Vanzep.

Cheers

Andy
