Difference between these two 2.2v front calipers?

Hey guys,

So I have here two front calipers taken from 5G ludes, one is left hand side and the other is right but thats not the difference Im on about.

The gold one came off a H22A8 and the other came off my h22a5. The gold one appears to have smaller front prongs that hug the pad at the front.

See the pics below, the original one off my h22a5 has much bigger prongs as seen.

Why would they be so different? They both work as I have the matching set to this installed on my car. (Only noticed this painting them up on my lude the other day).

Any help would be much appreciated :)

That's very odd... not come across/seen that before.
Are they both nissin calipers?

The caliper piston will self adjust so it's perfectly fine to use those 2 together. Its just a difference in production as already stated.

Yeah both Nissin calipers bud, I was well confused when I finally noticed. However, as you guys have mentioned it seems to be absolutely fine. I've no issues with them, just the prongs are slightly smaller!

Cheers for the comments guy, much appreciated and put my mind at rest.

Mine were like this, I got replacements from a crv, same model number on the caliper though. They work OK.
