Hi guys just after a little help there is slight play in my drivers side rear hub I thought it was the wheel bearing as there is movement from side to side, so I've replaced the bearing but it's still doing it, after all that I noticed that I could see the rear lower arm balljoint that attaches to the hub from the subframe was moving when I was trying to move the wheel, sorry for the long paragraph but can u just replace the balljoint or can u replace the whole arm
It's the lower arm B balljoint that has gone bottom right of picture

2WS balljoint. Sure it's whole arm that needs to be replaced.

never heard that about 5th gen toe arms fitting 2ws 4th gens - looks like a good option
or go for adjustable ones (megan racing, us racing, japspeed)
ive got the ball joint and bracket for a 4th gen if thats any use-its marked L so i presume left hand side- will take some doing to remove the old ball joint as its part of a bracket that is held in place by two aerospace type bolts and will be well rusted in place - but i guess it can be done

Ive checked and its marked L for left hand side

fairly sure theyre not interchangeable due to the shape of the bracket
sounds like a 5th gen arm will be your best bet
might be best to put up new wanted ad
@newkid are there 5th gen arms available from your pals 5th gen auto?

I have a pair of 5 th gen arms but the inner bushes are knackered. I was going to get the measurement and get poly bushes from them but bought aftermarket ones instead

ive put up a wanted post, I'm fairly sure they will work with the 4th gen 2ws, I've been reading up on it a lot since last night, guess there's no harm in trying
