As per title, mine has totally dried out and can be very slow to close the roof.
What would be the best option to lube it back up?

I lubed mine with a lithium grease (I had a big pot of the stuff). After not being used for several (6) years it was not even functional, now 18 months on its still sweet.

Yep, I've just used white spray grease on sunroof sliders before now.

I just sprayed some white grease on the sliders cause it was also very slow, and now after 2 years it still slides smooth.

Went to the local motor factors this morning, bought some "multipurpose grease". Applied and instantly improved both open and close speed!!

I used this stuff. Really frees tight spacers up and makes things slide easier.

Not edible though.
