Treated myself to these Enkei J10's

Post by simonc » Sun Feb 14, 2016 7:28 am

Hi all,
Sorry for the radio silence, been flying the company through some light fiscal turbulence so been rather distracted. However, to cheer myself up, I bought these bobby dazzlers as a treat.
Got them from the USA as they're about half the price of Enkei wheels you can get here, not that I've been able to find any J10's here or in Singapore, and also I'm secure in the knowledge that they are the real McCoy.
They arrived last week and as it's the Lunar New Year holidays, they're laying all forlorn in the spare bedroom as every bugger is shut here till Monday, (apparently, it's an auspicious day to re-open  )

Rather sexy, eh?

This was a right royal pain though. Import duty (plus GST) came to just short of RM1500.00. Swines.

So, tomorrow we're ordering the tyres, Michelin Pilot S3 which means towards the end of next week, they should be on and rolling.
I do have one thing that bugs me a bit though. They have 8 holes in them and I've seen these push in plugs made by a company called Mr Gasket in the US. I'd like to use these to block off the unused 4 holes.

Does anyone know a supplier of these types of things in the UK? If anyone can help it'll mean I get my brother to buy me a set rather than faffing around getting them sent all the way from the US. Any ideas who stocks them guys?

Anyway, I hope you like them, I can't wait to fit them and of course will share a few photos of the lithe Blue Beauty wearing her new outfit. Ding-dong. :D

Mornin Nathan. Thanks for the comment, they are rather sexy are they not? ;)
Yes, the bling factor of the plug things is a worry, which is why I'm hoping one or two of the fellas here may have used them.

Nice wheels.
Have you looked for centre caps that cover all the bolt holes?

I know what you mean Sailor and although I've been looking, so far I've come up with nowt. Here's the caps that came with the wheels, obviously just covering the centre portion.
