Hi guys. Just wanna ask, because maybe some of you had a same problem .
I've got BC Racing (BR Series) coilovers on my fifth gen. Since i installed them, i hear terrible annoying knocking on rear suspension. All ball joints are good, all bushings are new (poly), anti roll bars and bushes are new. :( Also i removed 4ws.Is nothing there, what can make a knocking, apart something wrong with coilovers. Did anyone had a same problem and know how to fix it :?: :?: :suicide:

Thanks for help.

I have BCs on my Integra. I'm very happy with them.

Have you tried adjusting them to see if there's any difference?

Is it a pretty constant knocking or just over bumps? And how low did you go?

Also I have to ask, have you had the tracking done since?

I've no idea. It came complete, just to fit on the car, i didn't check any bolts

I hear that all the time, don't need any bumps

about 6cm

Sorry but i'm not really sure what you mean :(
I was tried to find what make this noise, hundreds times (each time i drive somewhere) and nothing. It's not changing at all, it's same knocking for over 6 month. Also i thought, maybe that brakes pads( you know, sometimes they get loose) but when i push brake pedal and slowing down, it still happen

Were the coil overs used when you bought them? Check the condition of the shock as they will show signs of pitting on the "piston rod" (chrome part that goes up and down in shock body) if they are in bad shape can cause wear and play in shock which causes a knocking.

If I was you I'd go over every nut and bolt on the rear suspension checking there all tight..

Seams everything has been apart so lots of room for error..

I looked at a set of these for a guy with a type s. I found if you jacked up the rear you can try to lift one wheel and there's a definite gap in the shock that moves with the piston as you move the wheel up and down.

The guy had them professionally installed at a garage and no amount of adjusting the settings would clear the noise, imo it was a manufacturer defect like not enough oil or something loose inside. I don't think they ever came to a solution but maybe worth trying lifting the wheel with the car jacked up.

is this knocking sound like metal to metal?

just check the tightening of stabilizing rods , they can do veery bad noise
