Minimum required shock play?

Post by RobMorris » Mon Dec 14, 2015 12:17 pm

Hey

So I am fitting lowering springs / eBay coilover sleeves to my Prelude.

I want to go very low and placed the spring without the sleeve on the stock strut first but there would be very strut movement available.

How much available strut movement should one aim for as a minimum?

Cheers
My car and I are not to be taken seriously! Its just for fun..

First I would recommend to use sleeves with springs + if you want to go low you better use extended top mounts for better shock work

Second i would not recommend to use sleeves from ebay at all

Interesting... Not seen extended top mounts before - makes sense to me.

Can you use them on a lude though? Is there space under the bonnet for them?
