An annoying rattle (one of 3 or 4 ) has been traced to the glass in the drivers door - Im looking to see if there is a write up on how to fix this including what sealant you use on the lower mounting points when putting the glass back in.
Im sure i saw a discussion/write up on this back on PUK but cant seem to find it.
Any help appreciated :)

There was a TSB that I have somewhere, and it may be on here too. I fixed the part open rattle and its in my profile. Basically a very simple job involving a hammer and a block of wood :D
As merc says, check the fixing at the b piller side too, the circular one you can see from outside, its just a normal clockwise thread. I used an old rubber glove for grip. (Leeeave it!  )
Will have a look for the PDF

Thanks for the info - I have a couple of spare window glass so can just swap them out if needed.
Im not sure if it is the top fixing thats loose :? its been making a clunking noise for some time- so far ive taken the sideskirt off and reaffixed it -that didnt cure it - so i changed the door check strap - that didnt fix it

Here you go @vanzep, I could have sworn I handed over a few of these to be added to the wiki years ago, maybe not though :?

Awesome stuff 8-)
I don't have a problem with rattling, but I noticed on the BB4 that the lower runner rubber isn't staying in place, so I need to do step 10.

 wonder how I would get on if I went into Honda and claimed it was a recall and they needed to do it on my car...

 Shame that adhesive is no longer available by the looks, only the one that Honda say will not hold it!

Yeah, I'd take that as bollox.

Frankly I think I'd use black gutter sealant. Super sticky, slightly flexible, extremely durable.
