Wheel and tyre sizes

Post by alinton » Fri Sep 25, 2015 6:22 pm

I know this subject has been done to death, but I thought I'd cremate it a bit further...

What are the thoughts on wheel/tyre sizes? I've got 16s on now, with 205/55 tyres. But I think the profile looks too big.

I've also come upon a set of OZ Racing 17" rims, but what profile tyres would y'all recommend? 40 or 45?

Collective wisdom appreciated!

A.

205/55 on 16" is the wrong size anyway. Should be 205/50.

Do 215/45/17 on 17s. Don't settle for less or the cookie monster will get you.

Since I'm terrified of cookie monsters, I'll need that advice.
