ATR/Legend Front Pad Fitting Kit

Post by NafemanNathan » Tue Jul 28, 2015 11:28 am

I''ve robbed this picture from @Drax to illustrate what I'm after.

I'm after a new front pad fitting kit for a set of ATR/Legend calipers, but none of the top spring plates I'm seeing look like what's existing (Like Drax's). I can imagine there could easily be a redesign for such a thing regarding its shape, but just to be sure they'll fit, what have other people bought when refurbing ATR/Legend calipers.

I don't have the spring plates on my ATR calipers. I know they should be there.

I've looked into this before. Sure I found a supplier on eBay in the end (not biggred or brakes international).
I need to purchase some also, so hoping I can find it again (didn't buy any at the time...)

Please post up a link if you find any, as I think I'm missing one or both on my NSX calipers (another avenue for you to look at since NSX = Legend basically).

I've looked into getting a pair of these in the past. Spent hours on eBay but could not find an exact match. I THINK the part number is 45227-SL0-013, but at £25.10 each (according to Lings), Honda can go fvck themselves.

Anyway, I've had my ATR calipers fitted since December 2012 without any issues hence why I'm reluctant to fork out over £50 at Honda for something that isn't 100% necessary. If they were cheaper, perhaps an aftermarket item, then I might be more tempted to satisfy for OCD / perfectionist tendencies.

Here for example
The pictured brake pad springs in those links look like those that come with the single piston Prelude calipers (different shape / design).
