Lude Generation

I need a new set of wheel nuts for my mondeo family wagon and wanted a coloured set for when i paint the wheels.

Had a look on ebay but cheap chinese wheel nuts seem like a bit of a gamble to me.

What are some brands that come recommended?

I really liked blox but they literally crumbled on me

Think muteki or something like that is highly rated here

I recently purchased some Gorilla lug nuts from the states. Seem to have better reviews than the mutekis and the fact they are spline drive gives me some peace of mind security wise

They seem to be designed with a tough durable finish so no chipping as of yet!

Whatever you end up going with avoid aluminium and cheap alloy as its too soft for daily use. Eventually you will round the nuts off or they will become a general nuisance. Get something made of steel.

This does depend entirely on quality. Porsche wheel nuts are alloy from new and never go wrong.

For cheap after market ones though I would agree - go with steel.

muteki stuff looks good, when i got the money i think thats gonna be the ticket.

Just don't get the neocrome ones. Mine flaked off after a couple of months

Also might be worthwhile waiting to Japfest 2...if your intending on going Japshow had some decent offers on Mutekis and you also get to have a look before you buy
