After getting a set of atr wheels from
@jdm-bb4 i refurbed them and fitted them to my 5th, now after a few days of use iv noticed they are rubbing the crap out of the inner arches
The tyres that came with them are 215/45/17 and the wheels themselves are 17x7 et55
My question is are the atr and motegi wheels the same? Or did they get made with different offsets?
Either way i need to fix this either with spacers or perhaps with narrower tyres ie 205/45/17 this worked when the ep3 wheels were rubbing on the outside of the rear arches.
Pissed right off
Any insight people?

The ATR wheels on my 5G don't rub, even with 4WS. Same tyre size, too, so I wonder what the difference is.
205s should help and probably won't feel that much different on the road.

There must be a problem with your inner arches. They may have moved away assuming you mean the rubbing is on the plastic.
These are OEM Prelude wheels so fit perfectly.
Same tyre size and same wheels. ATR and Motegis are the same wheel exactly.

My lude rubs on the rear quarter/bumper when on full lock...Kinda put that down to it being lowered (not sure how much by) and it's on atr/motegi wheels, same tyre size as yours

Sorry to hear your having trouble.
Have you tried swapping the tyres from front to rear to see if the brands are slightly different sizes?
I know they are both the same profile but sometimes some brands have a more curved sidewall than others.

Are you sure they are 215/45. Is your tracking ok? Something isn't right. I was lowered 30mm on those and I had too much room.

There looks to be something wrong there. I have only once had it where I rubbed a wheel on the upper part of my wheel well, it was on a spring track though and I hit a big trough. IMO the tyre should not be as close as that.
